Just a local gal trying to make a positive difference in our world.

A lot of people ask me what is the best way to get involved: don't just talk, do. Show up. Get invested in your local community.  A lot of that starts with familiarizing yourself with what's going on at city and school levels.

If you do want to speak, upon entering, there is a table at the left, back corner of the board room, that provides BLUE speaker cards (you can fill out to make a public comment OR you can mark off to speak to a specific item on the agenda.) Typically speakers are allowed 2-3 minutes to speak, sometimes you have the option to have one person give you their time as well, so you can make a lengthier comment.
