We CAN-Tree 2020!
Will you help me build some CAN-trees for FOOD Share's CAN-tree event?

 This food will be distributed to food-insecure families in Ventura County. 

Funds Needed:  Either $2,600 (funds FOUR trees at $650 per tree) or 3,200 cans (builds FOUR trees). Good news is my garage is empty since we got the storage shed for the diaper bank!

A) It's $650 to purchase one tree's worth of cans from FOOD Share to build ... so monetary donations WELCOME.

B) It's 600-800 donated cans to build one tree.

C) IF you are a business and would like to sponsor a tree, we will decorate that tree in your branding and I will give you a LOT of nice social love AND hearts.

 I will be keeping a spreadsheet of donors, who will also be listed on the gratitude list below, and of course ... you'll have proof of funds used because I'll document the tree-building!

Donate Cans!

We are gonna need a LOT of them. Click "DONATE CANS"  and tell me how many I can count on you for. I'd need to know by NOV. 5, otherwise I would consider placing an order for cans from FOOD Share with funds.

I would need you to be able to drop off donations to my house where I will store them in my garage.
Are you a business or family that would like to sponsor an entire tree? If you are a business, we will decorate with your branding. If you are a family, we will decorate to a theme of your choosing!

​The cost to sponsor one tree is: $650. 
VOLUNTEERS

I will be looking to have everything collected/funded/ delivered by December 4, and would like volunteers for Saturday, Dec. 5.

​Because I would like to respect social distancing, I am going to limit volunteers to 10 people. This will be an outdoor volunteer opportunity and masks will be required.  I will post a SIGN-UP link as we get closer to the date.

The Cause

Food Share of Ventura County  distributes more than 13 million pounds of food, or nearly 12 million meals, annually to families in Ventura County. This CAN-tree event will help FOOD Share distribute much-needed food to families in need of support, which, as we all know, is needed now more than ever.
