A pearl-clutcher reported a post on my Facebook page from yesterday (they obviously did so in retaliation for my post about CVUSD board trustee Mike Dunn's threat to my work this morning) and now I'm locked out of Facebook for THREE DAYS. I can see your messages and your comments. UPDATE: I have been locked out of my Facebook page (both personal and blog page). I have to assume that a supporter of Mike Dunn's reported my page. I cannot respond to anything on Facebook currently. I'M BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT! Sounds like there was actually a glitch? What random timing....   "Fake News!!!!!! #######" --- Makes you cringe, right?
When someone says this phrase, seriously, I have to admit I can never take that person at face value again. To me it's indicative of someone who has bought into manufactured outrage. A puppet. A parrot. That may be a harsh take, but there it is. It's a phrase that tells me everything I need to know about you: you haven't done any research that would allow you to contribute anything to the conversation other than shitting out a buzz phrase rooted in creating a sense of distrust due to the unease of what's being said. You see, it doesn't actually invalidate the information, nor offer any counterpoints. It's an empty phrase that betrays those who squawk it by revealing they have no cards with which to deal. Did you just wake up from a coma and are all like, "OMGEE, there's something about books happening in the school district, but like, WUT?!?!"
It's a lot. I get it. If you haven't been actively keeping up since June (there's a lot with this issue to unpack), so you probably have no idea what in the what is going on, nor do you know where to start. Or you're a puppet, who is simply regurgitating phrases in mom groups from Mike Dunn without having actually attended any board meetings, nor read the books in question. It's ok. I got you, boo!
