My name is Jess Weihe, but some people call me "AM."

To know me, is to understand I’m competitive and love a good challenge. In my American Sign Language class in college I learned how to sign the alphabet in under six seconds to earn an immediate A for the semester. Have you tried signing it in under six seconds? I also gave an amazing ASL rendition of Mariah Carey's version of "All I Want For Christmas Is You." I was awarded best solo for hitting all the high notes.
I like to think of myself as a fair person who wants others to feel good about their participation as well. For example, this one time, my husband and I were playing Monopoly. I could have beat him in five minutes, but I extended the game an additional two minutes to make him feel like he was doing OK. I’m a giver. Born and raised in Conejo Valley, and now raising two girls and two pups with my husband in Newbury Park. Learn more about me in a recent interview with ShoutOut LA. |
